small words

You know how the Bible says not to despise the day of small things. I guess that is the season I am in. God keeps giving me small, power packed words over the past few days. He does that periodically. I want to share them and also record them for myself here.
1. The Holy Spirit in particularly spoke to me, "I will be your wings and will fly you above and over all of this" - not even really sure what "all of this" was referring to but it really encouraged me and I felt lifted up. Praying about this one
2. The Father said to me, "In everything be intentional and systematic". This was speaking of a new definition of righteousness I learned which is "doing things right". The Lord was telling me that it is impossible to be righteous outside of being intentional and systematic.
3. Jesus spoke tenderly to me, "you are beautiful and I like you" I am having trouble believing this. I am having such a hard time feeling this is true. Pray for me on this one.
4. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "you are an eagle" This goes with the first word and may clarify it. An eagle is a prophet with keen vision, great authority and riding the winds of the Spirit. Yes Lord! I desire to prophesy! I believe your word!

I hope this was for more than just me!

Shalom

God created the universe as perfect. Gen 1:31. The full alignment of all things with the perfect will of Father is the reality we call Shalom. Shalom was the reality in creation and it was good. The Kingdom of Heaven and Shalom are really one and the same.

God created man and gave him the care of Shalom. All we had to do was remain aligned with that perfect will. They did not do this. They decided they could go around God’s provision for them and improve upon His wisdom. They were wrong.

When Adam and Eve sinned Shalom was ripped asunder. Earth was no longer aligned with the Shalom of God. There was a separation, a wall, a twisting of the natural order and it was progressive. From that day until now the unraveling of Shalom has become worse and worse. The planet, the very fabric of space and time are unraveling moving further and further away from God’s original design. God allowed this so that He might display His character. He put a plan in motion for the final and total restoration of Shalom. His very own Son, the eternal image of His Glory, coequal in power and authority, would step into this unraveling world and change everything.

That was Jesus mission, the repair of Shalom. His message when He was here was, “Repent for the Kingdom of God is near!!!” He began and finished the work that would one day completely heal the earth and everyone and everything upon it. Everything He did while on the Earth was a beginning of the recreation that will culminate in the New Heavens and the New Earth. The final return of ultimate, and eternal Shalom, but until that day comes the Kingdom of God Exists just beyond the reach of mortal men. There is a very thin veil between the reality that we experience with our 5 senses and the kingdom of Heaven. One day the veil will cease to exist and the full manifestation of the Kingdom of Heaven will be made manifest on the face of the earth changing everything to align with the perfect Shalom of God, but until then all we can say is that the Kingdom is near, or at hand. The difference between a Christian and an unbeliever is that our Spirits and parts of our soul have been changed and aligned with that kingdom already. The recreation has already taken place in part of who we are and is continuing to take place as we are sanctified by the Living Word of God. We are creatures inhabiting both worlds walking the line between Heaven and Earth and because of this, we can be the conduits for Heaven to break into Earth. We can be the way the Shalom of God can come to parts and places in this chaos of Earth. Only we can do this. Only through Jesus work on the Cross have we been enabled to live in this place of intercession. Standing between Heaven and Earth and pleading with God to release through us the Kingdom in manifestation.

The weeping of John

John wept bitterly. He saw the earth unredeemed and with no redeemer to be found, and he wept. He saw the future of the world in the hand of the father and there was no one worthy to open it. So John wept. He saw the promises of God wrapped up in the sin and brokenness of man with no hope of release. He saw prophecies of old left to rot and he wept. He saw the groaning of creation for the revelation of the sons of God going unanswered and he wept. He saw his own destiny tightly bound and completely out of his reach and he wept. He saw the calling and anointing of the church, the glorious bride, unrealized, untouched, not even believed and at this John wept. John wept bitterly.

Rev 5:1 - Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. 2And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?" 3But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.

He weeps still. Pastors, laymen, intercessors and Sunday school teachers weep the tears of John. The tears of lost dreams and disillusionment. Tears of disappointment and confusion. Tears springing from lives disassembled and broken. Weeping arising from the shattered fragments of promises that died long ago. The mourning of all that life was supposed to be and never will. John still weeps.

Is there no redeemer? No one to save us? No one to pay our debts? No soothing mercy to calm this burning justice? All of Heaven and all of Earth has been searched and all of Hell, still there is no hope.

But wait.....

What is he saying?

Can it be?

The lion? I only see a lamb!

The root? I only see a branch!

triumph? I only see defeat and death!

But there in his hand He holds the scroll...
It can't be true!
He is worthy? He is able?
The scars! He has paid the price! The unpayable price! Why?
For me?
Oh He is about to open it!
My future, my plans, my dreams, my promises! They are all there in His hands
The hands of the lamb!
All that I care about all that makes life worth living it is there! In the pierced hands of that man!
But why would he do that for me?
Oh John stop weeping! OH JOHN! He is alive
My redeemer........................He LIVES!!!!!!
He has triumphed
He is WORTHY!!!!
WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN!!!!!
Worthy to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!
ForEVER FOREVER FOREVER!!!!!!!

5Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."

6Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[a] of God sent out into all the earth. 7He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. 8And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9And they sang a new song:
"You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased men for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth."

11Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12In a loud voice they sang:
"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!"

13Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing:
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!" 14The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.
